How to Homeschool in Canada ebook

Are you wondering how to homeschool in Canada?  These days, the homeschooling movement is on the rise, with more and more people accepting it as a viable option for educating their children.

On a regular basis, I get emails and messages asking me for advice on what steps are needed to get started homeschooling in Canada. The problem is that most of the time, parents just don’t know where to begin. A search for more information is usually challenging, and often the information they find is complicated and hard to filter through. They feel overwhelmed and confused.

Now you can find all the information that you need together in one easy-to-read guide. How To Homeschool in Canada I looked through all of the main questions that people ask when they first start homeschooling: (What do I have to do to get started?, Where do I get curriculum?, Is there a homeschool community near me?) and have attempted to answer those questions through a compilation of information that I’ve gathered to help you as you look into and/or start the journey of homeschooling. My goal for this book is to make that first step of homeschooling seem less like a giant leap into the unknown and more like a safe and easy path to success. Hopefully, it will make how to start homeschooling in Canada understandable, less overwhelming, and more enjoyable a journey for you.

What is in this book?

  • Know the reasons – examining the “why” behind your homeschool decision
  • Understand the rules – the provincial laws and regulations
  • Support Systems – how to find them online and in-person
  • Choosing curriculum – exploring learning styles, where you can buy it, and some Canadian resources & some info about homeschooling through high school
  • Planning tools – tips to help every day homeschooling
  • Never Stop Learning – what we (the parents) need to learn

Plus it includes lots of resources that I have personally used and recommend.

  5. I am a single mom of eight and I have children with great knowledge of some subjects and struggle with other subjects. When people say all kids are their own people, they weren’t kidding. I hope I can learn how to get started with homeschooling because with the class sizes at my children’s schools being so packed, I fear that they will not get the help they need to overcome their individual struggles. Thank you for sharing your knowledge that will help my family.
