Homeschool Canada Store

Being a homeschooling Mom of 4 young children I was amazed at how much curriculum, books and hands on items I would go through throughout the years. I was more amazed at how much it would cost and how good of condition they would be in when we were done with them. Hundreds of dollars of items have gone through the hands of me and my beautiful children and the shelves were bursting at the seams!

I had enjoyed running the website Homeschool Canada for years and helping people all over Canada find their way to homeschooling their children. Whether it was some information on how to begin their journey, advice in how to deal with outside pressures or just being there to support and answer questions it was something I never minded doing. In fact, I love it.

One of my dreams was to open a brick and mortar store for homeschoolers to come and shop for new items as well as have a section where they could consign their items that were collecting dust on her shelves. I also wanted to have a space where we could run classes and workshops for adults and children. However after much research we realized the commitment that would take and how much time it would take being away from our families.

Lisa Marie and I started a Homeschool Swap group on Facebook and in a short time we’ve had a huge amount of people join! It got me thinking that online was the way to go! So my partner, Deb, and I put out a call to local homeschooling families and told them our plans to open this store. The response has been overwhelming!!! We got so busy we had to push our open date a month! Finally after months of hard work we are happy and excited to announce that we have now launched online!! The first few days have been amazing and we love the deals we can offer to families all across Canada. We even have people consigning with us from different provinces and can’t wait to offer this to more people across the country.

To check out our inventory and shop you can go to www.homeschoolcanada.ca . We would love to hear any feedback you would have for us!!
